The Apparel Printing and Embroidery Technician plays a crucial role in managing the in-house embroidery and textile printing processes. This position involves handling high-volume embroidery and printing requests, overseeing special projects, maintaining and servicing machinery, and preparing finished products for delivery. The ideal candidate is proactive, possesses a strong work ethic, and pays close attention to detail. This is a full-time hourly position.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret and execute embroidery and printing orders based on provided specifications.
- Effectively manage and organize tasks to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Adhere to all embroidery guidelines regarding design, placement, and color selection.
- Prepare machines for production, including loading designs, making manual adjustments, and changing needles as necessary.
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of equipment before each job.
- Adjust machine settings to optimize performance.
- Conduct quality inspections of garments before final processing.
- Complete additional tasks as assigned.
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace.
Qualifications
- Experience operating embroidery machines is essential.
- Knowledge of digitizing and graphic design is advantageous.
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite is required.
- Ability to comprehend and follow both verbal and written instructions.
