We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cardiac Sonography Lab Supervisor to join our team at Presbyterian Healthcare Services. As a key member of our Non-Invasive Cardiovascular team, you will be responsible for the organization, direction, management, and evaluation of patient care services in our Echo/Stress Lab, interventional Echo, Vascular Lab, Cardiac nuclear Imaging, and EKG Services.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with the development and maintenance of operations that support excellence in cardiovascular diagnostic services.
- Work closely with the Medical Director(s) of the Noninvasive Cardiovascular Lab, Director of Cardiovascular Services, and other physicians, managers, and staff within the Heart and Vascular Service Line.
- Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to ensure high-quality patient care and safety.
- Collaborate with the team to identify and address operational challenges and opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Provide leadership and guidance to sonographers and other staff members to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery.
- ARDMS/RDCS credential with one of the following specialties: AE, FE, PE; or one CCI credential: RCS, RCCS; or have promoted up with years of experience and assigned a lead OR resource sonographer.
- Knowledge of state, federal regulations, Joint Commission, infection control, and IAC standards.
- Knowledge of root cause analysis and continuous quality improvement (CQI) methods and tools.
- Knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span of patients served and must have excellent people skills.
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
- Registered Cardiac Sonographer, Registered Diagnostic Med Sonographer, Registered Vascular Technologist, and NM Radiation Therapy Tech certifications.
- BLS certification required at time of hire.
