Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiovascular Technologist to join our team at ALLIED Presbyterian Hospital. As a key member of our cardiac catheterization lab team, you will be responsible for performing invasive cardiovascular procedures and providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Perform invasive cardiovascular procedures, including coronary angiograms and peripheral angiograms.
  • Operate imaging equipment, such as fluoroscopy and ultrasound machines.
  • Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Provide patient education and support throughout the procedure.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of procedures and patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • Credentials and NM state licensing in one of the following: RN, Paramedic, Respiratory Therapy, Medical Imaging, or Radiation Therapy required.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in current specialty required.
  • EPIC EMR experience preferred.
  • Must be a team player, flexible and accustomed to fast-paced environment.
  • Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment.
Work Environment

Shifts: 10 hour days - Shift

On Call requirements: Yes, cover call /back up call

Shifts may fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs.

On call, weekends, and holidays may be required.

Traveling pairs are not guaranteed same schedules or same shifts.

Floating requirements: Yes - Candidate will float to support both Rust Medical Center & Presbyterian Hospital (18 miles apart)
