Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled RN - Operating Room Nurse to enhance our dedicated team of healthcare professionals. This role is pivotal in delivering exceptional patient care, making critical decisions, and addressing clinical challenges within a patient-centered care framework.
The ideal candidate for the RN - Operating Room position is a compassionate and approachable individual, committed to ensuring the comfort and safety of our patients. Responsibilities include assisting surgeons during procedures and maintaining a sterile environment in the operating room. You will be accountable for providing safe, effective, and efficient care to patients undergoing surgery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Circulate and/or scrub on various surgical cases.
- Experience in General, Gynecological, Urology, Orthopedic, Spine, Neurological, Plastic, Robotic (DaVinci XI), and Trauma surgeries is essential.
- Specialization in Heart and Vascular surgeries with dedicated service teams.
- Cross-training for additional services is expected.
- Provide necessary supplies and sterile instruments during operations.
- Assist with room turnover and preparation for subsequent surgical cases.
- Act as a patient advocate throughout the surgical process.

Qualifications:
Experience: Previous operating room experience is mandatory, with specific experience in Heart Team/CVOR preferred.
Education:
- Associate's Degree in Nursing is required; a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred.
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing is essential for new graduates and preferred for experienced RNs.
Licensure:
- Current RN License is required; valid nursing licenses from participating states in the National Licensure Compact are acceptable.
Physical Requirements:
- Medium Work - Ability to exert up to 50 lbs of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs constantly.
