Job Profile

Mansfield Veterinary Hospital is seeking a dedicated Pet Care Assistant Manager to oversee our daily operations. The estimated annual salary for this role is $50,000 - $60,000.

This critical role involves coordinating animal care activities, supervising support staff, and ensuring seamless communication among team members. As a Pet Care Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining high-quality animal care standards, promoting positive relationships with clients, and driving business growth through excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate daily animal care activities, including vaccinations, surgeries, and wellness exams.
  • Supervise support staff, providing guidance and feedback to ensure exceptional animal care.
  • Monitor animal recovery, implementing measures to prevent complications and ensure smooth transitions between care stages.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, addressing concerns and providing expert advice on animal care and welfare.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with local veterinarians, referring partners, and other stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a veterinary technician or in a related field.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients, staff, and external partners.
  • Knowledge of animal behavior, psychology, and welfare principles is essential.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
