Position Summary:
We are currently seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Ink Mixing Technicians. This role is essential in producing high-quality printing inks, and we are willing to provide training for the right candidates to operate our mill machinery and engage in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and mix ink batches according to supervisor specifications.
  • Submit batch samples for quality control and implement adjustments as directed.
  • Monitor and record batch temperatures as necessary.
  • Transport mixed batches to designated mill staging areas.
  • Safely dispose of used solvents and inform the supervisor upon completion.
  • Label solvent containers as "Flammable" and ensure proper grounding at all times.
  • Maintain mixers in accordance with company standards, including lubrication and reporting mechanical issues.
  • Replace mixer blades when required.
  • Utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) including masks, gloves, and goggles.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols consistently.

Qualifications:
To excel in this role, candidates should possess:

  • A minimum of three months of relevant experience.
  • Strong mathematical abilities and basic computer proficiency.
  • A keen attention to detail.
  • Reliability in fulfilling assigned shifts.
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
  • A solid background in Autonomous Maintenance (AM).
  • The ability to collaborate effectively within multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Consistent attendance and punctuality.
  • The capability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications:
While not mandatory, the following qualifications will be considered advantageous:

  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Experience operating forklifts; training is available for those without experience.
  • Background in mixing, milling, or pump filtration industries.
  • Prior experience in the ink manufacturing sector.
