Maintenance Manager Job Description

RPM Living is seeking a skilled Maintenance Manager to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient maintenance of our properties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities to ensure timely completion and resident satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance plans to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of equipment and systems.
  • Manage maintenance budgets and ensure costs are controlled.
  • Lead and train a team of maintenance technicians to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and codes, including OSHA and fire safety standards.
  • Perform routine inspections to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in multifamily maintenance or a related field.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field preferred.
  • Supervisory experience and EPA certification required; CPO certification preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
