Job Overview

As a Senior Director of Financial Reporting at Brady Industries, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of our financial statements.

You will lead a team of experienced accountants and analysts in preparing and reviewing our SEC filings, maintaining a robust SOX control environment, and providing technical accounting guidance to management.

This role requires a strong understanding of SEC regulations, technical accounting standards, and financial analysis tools.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement financial reporting policies and procedures
  • Manage and coordinate the preparation of quarterly and annual financial reports
  • Review and analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Provide technical accounting guidance to management on complex accounting issues
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure the accuracy and reliability of our financial statements
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including investors, analysts, and regulators
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting standards and regulatory requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; CPA required
  • 10+ years of experience in financial reporting, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
  • Strong knowledge of SEC regulations, GAAP, and technical accounting standards
  • Proven track record of improving financial reporting processes and reducing costs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Estimated Salary: $140,000 - $200,000 per year
