Overview

NV Energy is seeking a highly skilled NERC Compliance Manager to oversee the company's program with emphasis on compliance with NERC O&P Reliability Standards. This role involves providing direct oversight of the company's program, ensuring program documentation, training, and processes are standardized, communicated, and understood by program participants.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in utility business practices, NERC reliability standards, and applicable federal, state, and local governmental laws and regulations. They will also possess excellent analytical, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, as well as project management and leadership experience.

Responsibilities
  • Develops, initiates, and maintains policies and procedures for the management and operation of the NERC O&P program and its related activities, in accordance with NERC and other applicable federal and state compliance-related laws.
  • Overses enterprise-wide processes, procedures, and controls related to NERC compliance and works with directors and managers across the organization to ensure regulatory compliance requirements are met.
  • Overses the administration and tracking of activities related to NERC compliance, including periodic certifications, self-reports, external audits by third-party agencies, and internal audits.
  • Coordinates and reviews all NERC compliance-related training, including electronic-based training.
  • Manages the O&P Compliance analysts and engineers.
Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with a Bachelor's degree from an accredited school in business administration, engineering, or a related field, and 4 years of related NERC compliance or utility experience. Candidates who do not possess a Bachelor's degree must have a minimum of 8 years of related NERC compliance or utility experience.

A salary of $115,900 (Min) to $136,300 (Mid) is expected for this role. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, pharmacy, dental, vision, life insurance, wellness, flexible spending accounts, 401(k), adoption assistance, tuition assistance, paid time off, and 12 paid holidays.
