Job Summary:

The Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing all financial operations of the Prescott Historical Society and Shalrot Hall Museum. This includes accounting, budgeting, audit preparation, human resources, payroll, and insurance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily business functions, including payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, and other financial and accounting tasks.
  • Develop and prepare annual budgets for both organizations.
  • Provide human resource services, including recruiting, hiring, maintaining job descriptions, processing employee onboarding, and managing employee benefits.
  • Compile, analyze, and report financial data to staff, executive director, and board of trustees.
  • Offer financial guidance to the director, board of trustees, and staff.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 1-5 years of experience in accounting or finance.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • MBA or CPA.
  • HR experience.
  • Non-profit experience.
