Job Title: Licensed Behavioral Consultant

Comhar Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Licensed Behavioral Consultant to join our team. As a Licensed Behavioral Consultant, you will provide behavioral intervention consultation services to the treatment team for children and adolescents with serious emotional disturbances.

Job Summary:

The Licensed Behavioral Consultant will work collaboratively with the treatment team to design and implement behavioral modification intervention plans tailored to each child's or adolescent's needs. This role requires a strong understanding of behavioral health principles and the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct client assessments within 15 days of service initiation.
  2. Observe children in various settings to inform intervention plan development.
  3. Develop and implement intervention plans, providing instruction to treatment team members.
  4. Collaborate with the interagency team to ensure comprehensive support.
  5. Provide consultation to the treatment team on plan implementation and revisions.
  6. Participate in regular peer reviews with a licensed psychologist.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1 year of full-time experience in mental health direct services or a related field.
  • Graduate degree in psychology, social work, education, or counseling.
  • Experience in ABA services or related fields is an asset.
