Job Summary:

As an Oral Surgery Technician at Gundersen Lutheran-Harmony, you will play a vital role in providing supportive anesthesia care in a safe and effective environment. Our team is dedicated to improving the lives of our patients, and we are seeking a skilled and compassionate individual to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide supportive anesthesia care to patients undergoing office-based outpatient anesthesia
Prepare medications and IV for sedation/anesthesia as directed by the oral surgeon
Educate patients and their escorts on sedation and procedures
Monitor and record patient vital signs during procedures
Assist oral surgeons with dental procedures and surgical procedures in the operative suite

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of a dental assistant or dental hygiene program
Current certification as a Licensed Dental Assistant (LDA) in Minnesota or Dental Anesthesia Assistant National Certification Examination (DAANCE) in Wisconsin
Current Infant-Adult Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers certification
