Unleash Your Potential as an HVAC Installation Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled HVAC Installation Specialist to join our team at Smith Air Conditioning Inc. As an integral part of our installation crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe installation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.

Salary Estimate: $50,000 - $70,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.

About the Role
  • Replace, modify, and/or install warm air furnaces, air conditioners, duct distribution systems, boilers, water heaters, and related piping and electrical to meet or exceed manufacturer's recommendations and local codes.
  • Startup installed equipment and adjust to manufacturers' and job specifications.
  • Troubleshoot, adapt, and resolve/repair all issues that arise during an installation to ensure proper functioning.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide exceptional customer service with a customer-centric attitude.
  2. Maintain a strong working knowledge of products and services being offered, requiring additional study and training both on and off site.
  3. Become knowledgeable of various municipalities' plan requirements, permit requirements, and submittal processes.
  4. Communicate effectively with Field Installation Supervisors throughout each project to ensure prompt completion.
  5. Continuously improve knowledge of construction in general and learn how Smith Air Conditioning operates to benefit customers.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; trade school or college degree preferred.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in HVAC installation, maintenance, or repair.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings and specifications.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word, as well as familiarity with smartphones, email, and outlook.
  • Possess a neat, clean, and professional appearance.
