Position Overview

The CNC Machining Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of multi-axis machinery. The individual in this position is expected to meet the following essential responsibilities:

  • Technical Proficiency: Interpret technical drawings and part specifications while applying Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles.
  • Software Utilization: Employ advanced computer software, such as CAMWorks, to design cutting paths and effectively program machinery.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough quality assurance assessments to confirm that products adhere to design specifications.
  • Optimization: Modify machine cutting paths or settings to enhance production efficiency while upholding quality standards.
  • Tool Selection: Assess and select appropriate tools for cutting various materials and program machines accordingly.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve programming issues as they occur.
  • Machine Operation: Set up and operate multi-axis machines proficiently.

Compensation: Starting pay is $26/hr and above, with a 4/10 work schedule from Monday to Thursday.
