The Gig Nursing Program is designed to complement the full and part-time core nursing staff at Mercy Hospital. Gig nurses are highly skilled Registered Nurses and Licensed Practical Nurses who commit to work flexible hours.
Key qualifications include:
- One year of recent bed-side RN experience for Med Surg, two years for other specialties
- Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN)
- Current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure
- Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association
Mercy has determined this is a safety-sensitive position. The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is an essential function of this job.
