Operating Room Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our team at Sierra Medical Center. As a key member of our surgical services team, you will provide direct patient care to infant through geriatric patient populations in the OR arena.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to infant through geriatric patient populations in the OR arena.
- Address the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care related to the surgical and Pain Center environment.
- Assist with the maintenance of surgical equipment and pain management inventory.
- Participate in performance improvement activities.
- Assess operating room / procedure room for equipment functioning and readiness, obtains supplies for individual cases and ensures all appropriate needs of surgical operating team are met.
- Demonstrate supportive behaviors necessary for performing bedside report using IMAP & SBAR (both accomplished in partnership with patient inside room).
- Takes appropriate actions and documents in response to manifested anxiety or distress.
