Job Summary:

As a Respiratory Therapist with VieMed, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality home respiratory therapy services to patients. This position requires a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide clinical contact with physicians, healthcare practitioners, and other stakeholders involved in patient care
Install and deliver respiratory therapy equipment, ensuring proper setup and maintenance
Conduct ongoing assessments of patients and equipment to ensure optimal care
Maintain accurate records, charting, and documentation
Oversee inventory management and vehicle maintenance
Collaborate with office staff to ensure prompt and accurate billing and documentation
Travel to assigned territories as needed to provide support and services

Requirements:

Valid Respiratory Therapist license in the state of practice
Medical or respiratory experience
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Work Environment:

This position requires frequent travel to patient homes to set up and service medical devices. The employee must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds occasionally and up to 10 pounds frequently. The work environment is fast-paced and requires excellent time management and organizational skills.

Education and Experience:
