The Application Security division serves as a reliable evaluator and risk consultant for the software development teams. Composed of security professionals skilled in software protection and penetration testing, this team provides insights from an attacker's viewpoint on various technologies while maintaining ongoing collaboration with numerous Engineering and Software Development units. Team members are driven by a passion for technology and a commitment to staying ahead of emerging cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and security innovations. This team is integral to the Information Security framework within the Global Technology organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate the security posture of software initiatives and enhance cloud security protocols.
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration tests, documenting security findings with actionable remediation strategies.
  • Perform threat evaluations to pinpoint potential risks and deliver security recommendations.
  • Facilitate remediation efforts following security assessment outcomes that highlight areas needing improvement.
Qualifications:
  • Over 7 years of experience in software security with a focus on vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, threat modeling, and code evaluations.
  • Proficient in vulnerability assessment, penetration testing, and threat modeling techniques.
  • Experience in securing intra-company and third-party APIs.
  • Familiarity with dynamic and static analysis tools.
  • Knowledge of tools such as Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and proficiency in scripting languages like Python.
  • Understanding of cloud and container security solutions, such as Dome 9 and Aqua Security, or similar platforms.
  • Experience with network protocols, web protocols, and encryption technologies, including SSL/TLS and public key infrastructure (PKI).
  • Strong collaboration, communication skills, and ability to manage attention effectively.
  • Degree in computer science, programming, information security, or engineering is preferred.
  • Interest in financial systems is advantageous.
