LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse - Wayman Tisdale Clinic

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at the Wayman Tisdale Clinic, located at the University of Oklahoma. As a member of our interdisciplinary healthcare team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the education and training of future generations of physicians.
Responsibilities- Prepare patients for examination by having charts ready and performing various tasks as needed.
- Collect and record patient data, including vital signs and laboratory results.
- Administer medication to patients under the direction of a physician or other medical personnel.
- Schedule surgeries and arrange for preoperative laboratory studies.
- Perform other duties as needed to ensure the successful fulfillment of the position.
- Proficient nursing skills applicable to this position.
- Ability to work successfully with a diverse group of faculty, staff, and patients.
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to follow patient safety and confidentiality guidelines.
- Valid Licensed Practical Nurse license issued by the State of Oklahoma or eligibility to obtain a license within 30 days of job interview.
