Team Overview:

We are in search of exceptional software engineers who are passionate about consumer-oriented products and eager to be part of a dynamic team that is transforming travel experiences. Our team deploys code on a daily basis, conducts extensive A/B testing, and plays a crucial role in the product lifecycle from concept to execution. There is a wealth of opportunities to contribute, and you will be instrumental in delivering innovative solutions.

Our core software, including APIs, internal services, and both web and mobile applications, is pivotal in redefining mobility. As a member of a compact team of skilled engineers and designers, you will significantly influence the development of an exciting application that is reshaping travel and perceptions of car ownership.

  • Collaborate closely with product management, design, and engineering teams to create product features that enhance our performance metrics.
  • Produce high-quality, maintainable code, conduct testing, participate in collaborative code reviews, and oversee deployment.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and scalability within our architecture and application design.
  • Develop tools and utilities to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  • Ensure comprehensive technical design and documentation.
  • Adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment where creativity and innovative solutions are encouraged.
Candidate Profile:
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in delivering high-scale code to production environments.
  • Proficient in at least one programming language, with a preference for Java or Kotlin, along with familiarity in Python, Ruby, Go, or C.
  • Strong foundation in computer science principles, including data structures, algorithms, database concepts, distributed systems, and search technologies, with experience in API development.
  • Adept at problem-solving and assisting others in achieving their objectives.
  • Enthusiastic about backend technologies such as search, streaming, and databases.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical concepts to designers, support staff, and fellow engineers, with a strong ability to work cross-functionally.

The compensation package for this full-time role includes a competitive salary, equity, and benefits. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location, with specific details available during the hiring process.
