About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Veterinary Technician to join our team at Thrive Pet Healthcare's Hoffman Estates Animal Hospital. As a vital member of our medical team, you will play a key role in providing exceptional care to our patients and their owners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support veterinarians in delivering high-quality patient care, advocating for pets, and educating clients.
  • Assist with surgeries, procedures, and laboratory tests, ensuring compliance with state Veterinary Practice Acts.
  • Communicate effectively with clients about individualized pet health concerns, offering guidance on Thrive Membership options, medications, and additional treatments.
  • Maintain accurate, comprehensive medical records with the support of practice systems.
  • Obtain relevant health history and information from clients, ensuring seamless patient care.
  • Utilize safe restraining techniques, follow standard protocols, and maintain clean, sterile environments.
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to fellow team members.
