Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to ensure the quality of internal and external applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues.
  • Utilize industry-standard tools to create and execute automated test scripts, and analyze results to identify areas for improvement.
  • Participate in project and backlog reviews to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Develop and maintain detailed test cases and plans to communicate testing methodologies and expected behaviors to stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular performance and regression testing as part of the release plan.
  • Document defects and errors with clear, detailed descriptions for development review.
  • Lead and maintain a prioritization of known defects with input from development and product management.
  • Develop effective strategies and test plans in collaboration with engineering teams.
  • Evaluate product code against specifications to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Report bugs and errors to development teams, and help troubleshoot issues.
  • Conduct post-release and post-implementation testing to ensure quality and stability.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a QA tester or similar role.
  • Experience in project management and QA methodology.
  • Ability to document and troubleshoot errors.
  • Working knowledge of test management software.
  • Good SQL querying skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is a plus.
