Responsibilities- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to ensure the quality of internal and external applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues.
- Utilize industry-standard tools to create and execute automated test scripts, and analyze results to identify areas for improvement.
- Participate in project and backlog reviews to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Develop and maintain detailed test cases and plans to communicate testing methodologies and expected behaviors to stakeholders.
- Conduct regular performance and regression testing as part of the release plan.
- Document defects and errors with clear, detailed descriptions for development review.
- Lead and maintain a prioritization of known defects with input from development and product management.
- Develop effective strategies and test plans in collaboration with engineering teams.
- Evaluate product code against specifications to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Report bugs and errors to development teams, and help troubleshoot issues.
- Conduct post-release and post-implementation testing to ensure quality and stability.
- Proven experience as a QA tester or similar role.
- Experience in project management and QA methodology.
- Ability to document and troubleshoot errors.
- Working knowledge of test management software.
- Good SQL querying skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is a plus.
