We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Systems Design Engineer to join our R/D team within a billion-dollar company. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, prototyping, and verifying electrical and electronics designs for complex new product development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of electrical circuit schematics for complex electromechanical systems and analyze/simulate design to understand key parameters and sensitivities.
  • Design and debug electrical systems that comply with 60601 EMC and Safety requirements.
  • Test and characterize complex PCB functional blocks in support of firmware development.
  • Drive medical device Design Control compliance by ensuring that all applicable safety, quality, and regulatory guidelines and policies are followed.
  • Create formal Verification test protocols, run tests, and write Verification test reports.
Requirements
  • Minimum of Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of closely related experience in development of complex electrical systems.
  • Experience with Medical Device and FDA regulations.
  • Expertise in analog and digital circuit design and layout using tools like Altium or other tools for schematic capture and PCB Design.
  • Experience with SPICE tools for simulation and testing.
  • Strong background in hardware/software integration and hardware debugging.
  • Working knowledge of ARM Cortex-M microcontrollers and their common peripherals.
  • Experience in SPI, I2C, CAN buses.
Work Environment

The role is a hybrid position with 3 days in office and 2 days work from home.
