Job DescriptionThe Industrial Production Tester is responsible for conducting thorough testing and analysis of systems to guarantee their performance meets our stringent requirements. This includes connecting systems to PCs equipped with Arbin-developed testing software, running quality control (QC) tests, tracking results, and performing basic troubleshooting to ensure timely delivery of tested systems.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent problem-solving skills, be able to work independently, and maintain accurate records of testing results. If you have a strong attention to detail, are proficient in using testing equipment, and can work effectively in a fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain high-quality standards by thoroughly testing and analyzing systems.
- Prepare battery testers according to product records, manuals, and customer specifications.
- Update test logs and reports, and promptly notify supervisors of any issues encountered.
- Ensure testing stations are well-maintained, including general housekeeping, preventative maintenance, and equipment calibration.
- Assist manufacturing teams and perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisors.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
- Highly self-controlled and disciplined, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
- Strong sense of responsibility, coupled with excellent learning capabilities, a positive attitude, and good coordination skills.
- Able to read, understand, and execute production documents and safety manuals.
- Familiarity with maintaining safety protocols when working with high-voltage and current battery testers.
- Capacity to learn all aspects of the job and perform tasks with minimal supervision.
- Effective communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of electrical circuit boards.
- Prior experience working with industrial electronics is preferred.
- Able to operate large-scale industrial equipment.
- Proficient in basic computer skills, such as emailing, document creation/editing, and spreadsheet creation/editing.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Experience with basic hand tools is beneficial.
- Able to work extended hours, including holidays and different shifts, as required.
- Possession of a valid forklift operating license is advantageous.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- US work authorization is mandatory.
- Two or more years of experience working in industrial production environments is strongly preferred.
We offer a competitive salary range of $50,000 - $70,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, our comprehensive benefits package includes health insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
Work Environment:This is a full-time position based in College Station, Texas, within our 65,000 square-foot headquarters and production facility. The ideal candidate will be able to work efficiently in an indoor production environment and navigate frequent lifting of up to 25-50 pounds.
