Job Overview:
As an Electrical Engineer at the University of Maryland, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for managing the university's electrical systems. About the Position:
We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with various departments to coordinate utility outages and minimize disruptions to the community. Your analytical skills and knowledge of electrical modeling software will be valuable assets in this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and replace/upgrading of electrical equipment and systems.
  • Maintenance and upgrade of electrical systems on campus.
  • Coordination of utility outages and minimizing disruptions to the community.
  • Analysis and evaluation of electrical distribution systems.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar technology field.
  • Four (4) to seven (7) years of experience in electrical infrastructure design, commissioning, testing, and/or operation and maintenance.
  • Knowledge of electrical codes, products, and best practices.
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
