Patient Access Operations Director

We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Access Operations Director to join our team at Trinity Health Corporation.
Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per year
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospital Patient Access operations and leadership experience. This role requires excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate patient access operations, including registration, admissions, and financial clearance.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with clinical staff and other departments to ensure seamless patient flow and efficient use of resources.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance patient satisfaction and operational efficiency.
- Provide training and coaching to staff members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Monitor and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement, making recommendations for changes as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred.
Experience: Minimum 5 years' experience in hospital Patient Access operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and third-party payers.
