Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Cashier/Food Service Worker to join our team at Levy Sector. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating the Point of Sale system, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Assist in preparing foods such as meats, vegetables, baked goods, and desserts, as well as catering orders.
  • Cash Handling: Perform cashier duties using the POS system, maintaining cash accuracy and making deposits at the end of each shift.
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Perform general cleaning duties, including removing trash and garbage to designated areas, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service in all retail areas, including cashiering and line serving.
  • Inventory Management: Inventory and restock supplies and food products, and maintain accurate records.
  • Temperature Control: Ensure that food temperatures are taken, recorded, and within acceptable ranges, and notify cooks if temperatures are not within acceptable limits.
  • Serving: Serve hot and cold items to customers, and set up serving lines as needed.
  • Stocking: Stock pantries with correct par levels of food items on a daily basis, and record replenished amounts on floor stock forms.
  • Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by management.
