Company Overview:
A reputable independent agricultural retail firm is seeking a Territory Manager to facilitate their expansion efforts. With a track record of success and rapid growth, the company aims to penetrate two new counties and requires an individual with a robust agronomic background and exceptional interpersonal skills to cultivate and oversee the new territory. Although there are existing customers in the area, the role necessitates the development of new client relationships to ensure a successful expansion.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Establish and oversee a new territory across two counties.
  • Foster and sustain strong connections with both current and potential clients.
  • Identify and capitalize on new sales opportunities within the designated territory.
  • Offer agronomic insights and recommendations to agricultural producers.
  • Achieve and surpass established sales objectives.
  • Collaborate with team members to guarantee customer satisfaction and support.
  • Remain informed about industry developments, products, and services.
  • Represent the organization at industry-related events and trade exhibitions.

Compensation:
$60,000 - $95,000/year + Bonus

Qualifications:

  • Strong foundation in agronomy.
  • Demonstrated sales experience within the agricultural sector.
  • Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-driven and results-oriented.
  • Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Bachelor's degree in Agriculture or a related discipline is preferred.
