Marine Pipefitter

• Install and repair piping systems onboard ships and submarines, ensuring seamless operation and efficiency.
• Conduct quality assurance spot checks on finished products to guarantee excellence.
• Analyze blueprints, drawings, and specifications to design optimal piping layouts and configurations.
• Assemble, fabricate, install, test, and secure ship piping systems according to strict specifications, utilizing welding, brazing, cementing, soldering, and threading techniques.
• Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes using specialized tools and equipment, including pipe cutters, threading machines, and pipe benders.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as welders, plumbers, and HVAC technicians, to complete projects on time and within budget.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulations, and advancements in pipefitting techniques and materials to maintain expertise.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in marine or industrial pipefitting.
• Ability to work with diverse piping systems and adapt to new technologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration and customer service.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical documents.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds independently.
• Pass a comprehensive 10-panel drug screen.

The estimated salary for this position ranges from $60,000 to $90,000 per year, depending on location and experience. CTS offers a comprehensive benefits package, including:
