Job Opportunity

Braun Blaising & Wynne, PC is seeking a highly skilled Senior Associate Attorney to join our team. As a key member of our regulatory affairs team, you will be responsible for representing clients in regulatory advocacy matters, drafting legal research and analysis, and participating in administrative and evidentiary hearings and agency workshops.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent clients in regulatory advocacy matters before the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC), California Energy Commission, and other regulatory agencies.
  • Draft legal research and analysis on complex energy and environmental issues.
  • Participate in administrative and evidentiary hearings and agency workshops.
  • Conduct regulatory compliance activities and provide guidance to clients on regulatory matters.

Requirements:

  • Law degree from an American Bar Association-approved law school.
  • Admission to the California Bar.
  • Experience in regulatory or legislative affairs or in a closely related field at an electric utility, non-profit, or a government agency.
  • Excellent legal writing and public speaking skills.
