Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of accounting professionals and provide supervision, leadership, and support to drive high-performance and professional development.
  • Oversee the preparation of all internal and external monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with applicable regulatory or contractual requirements.
  • Lead research for technical accounting matters relating to material transactions and contracts.
  • Oversee the implementation of new accounting standards and ensure compliance with changes in regulations.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and controls to ensure accurate financial reporting, strengthen internal controls, and mitigate risks.
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate audit and ensure adherence to audit requirements; address audit findings and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Provide technical guidance to finance and accounting teams on complex accounting issues.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance required. MBA a plus.
  • Active CPA is required.
  • 7+ years in accounting and financial reporting with at least the last 5+ years in a management/supervisory role over accounting professionals.
  • Experience at an audit/CPA firm a plus.
  • Extensive knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
