About the Role:

Salem Health is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Medical Courier to join our team. As a Medical Courier, you will be responsible for transporting laboratory specimens and supplies between our clinics and regional labs in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a Salem Health provided vehicle to collect specimens and supplies from clinics and other contracted clients.
  • Transport specimens and supplies to regional labs in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Ensure the integrity of specimens and supplies during transport.
  • Notify supervisor of any issues or concerns during transport.
  • Maintain accurate records of specimen and supply transport.

Requirements:

  • Valid Oregon driver's license for at least two years.
  • Good driving skills and an excellent driving record.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients, patients, and staff.
  • Ability to understand and follow detailed instructions.
