Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the sales process for externally-sponsored events; manage responses to requests for proposals (RFPs), requests for information (RFIs), and requests for quotes (RFQs). Develop and nurture strong business relationships with both existing and prospective clients.
  • Negotiate and finalize agreements for facility and service usage that comply with institutional policies and objectives. Conduct both scheduled and impromptu tours of facilities and client meetings.
  • Design, implement, and oversee strategic marketing initiatives to enhance visibility, generate leads, and drive revenue growth.
  • Manage and update website content to ensure it is appealing to both internal and external audiences. Coordinate all forms of advertising, both digital and print, as well as public relations and networking opportunities.
  • Oversee social media marketing strategies, including content creation, management, and performance analysis.
  • Perform graphic design tasks for print and digital materials, including catering menus, event flyers, and promotional advertisements.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to ensure the organization remains competitive and maximizes profitability.
  • Establish sales metrics and reporting systems to monitor lead quality, sales conversions, revenue generation, client retention, and return on investment (ROI).

Qualifications:

  • Preferred: Associate's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field; equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
  • Minimum of one year of relevant experience; familiarity with marketing principles, sales negotiation, digital marketing strategies, graphic design software, content creation, and CRM systems is advantageous.
  • Willingness to participate in a summer on-call rotation to support intern staff and manage emergency response protocols during evenings and weekends.
