Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire and Demolition Specialist to join our team at ServiceMaster Restore. As a key member of our emergency restoration team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch services to our customers following assigned work orders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform water, fire, and smoke damage remediation repairs as directed by supervisor, including water extraction, pack-out of contents, and removal/disposal of non-salvageable materials.
  • Set up and monitor air movers and/or dehumidifiers to ensure efficient drying and moisture control.
  • May perform other cleaning duties, such as construction cleaning, fire/smoke/odor cleaning, mold remediation, carpet and upholstery cleaning, when part of mitigation or restoration jobs.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or customer problems to supervisor in a timely manner.
  • Complete assigned job tasks according to company processes while maintaining quality control on each job.
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Ability to work within a team environment.
  • Takes instruction and stays on task.
  • Follows company guidelines and standards.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good customer service skills.
  • Can read and follow product label usage instructions.
  • Reports to work on time in a clean, complete uniform.

  • Must be able to move up to 70 pounds often, by lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or otherwise repositioning objects.

  • For safety reasons, respirators, which are used in certain situations, must be able to seal to your face.
