About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Physiotherapy Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality physiotherapy services to patients following treatment plans established by physical therapists.

Job Responsibilities
  • Deliver physiotherapy treatments to patients of various ages, including geriatric and pediatric populations, based on treatment plans and physician orders.
  • Teach patient care classes and groups for specific disorders as per physician order and departmental policies.
  • Communicate outcomes to evaluating therapists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Demonstrate efficient workflow and time management skills to provide quality patient care.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program with basic knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathology.
  • Successful completion of clinical internships.
  • Physical Therapy Assistant License in the state where care is provided.
  • Basic skills in PT procedures and treatment, use of modalities (US, electrical stimulation, traction, etc), documentation skills, and CPR certification.
  • One year of clinic experience in a comparable setting.
Salary and Benefits
