About Fausto: A charming neighborhood eatery and wine destination, Fausto is dedicated to providing an exceptional dining experience with a focus on fresh, local ingredients and seasonal flavors. We are currently looking for a full-time Pasta Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team.
Position Overview: As a Pasta Cook, your primary responsibilities will include preparing mise en place and cooking pasta at one of our two dedicated pasta stations. This role requires commitment to a full-time schedule, specifically Saturday through Tuesday evenings and Wednesday mornings for prep work.
Ideal Candidate:
- At least 2 years of experience in a casual or fine dining environment.
- Proficient in multitasking within a fast-paced kitchen setting.
- Possesses a positive attitude and strong teamwork skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute opening and closing duties according to established standards, including setting up and shutting down your station.
- Prepare ingredients for daily service and adhere to the weekly prep schedule.
- Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds as required.
- Ability to remain on your feet for extended periods, exceeding 6 hours.
- Perform additional job-related tasks as directed by management.
- Ensure the highest quality standards for all menu items.
Compensation: Hourly rate between $22 and $24.
