Job Summary

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with Ladgov Corporation, you will be responsible for observing and participating in squadron activities to identify psychosocial stressors and barriers to optimal human performance. You will develop and implement initiatives to mitigate psychosocial stressors and risks and optimize airmen performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psych diagnostic assessments and provide evidence-based psychotherapy.
  • Develop and implement initiatives to mitigate psychosocial stressors and risks and optimize airmen performance.
  • Observe and participate in squadron activities to identify psychosocial stressors and barriers to optimal human performance.

Requirements:

  • Professional knowledge of social work practices, principles, theories, and administrative requirements.
  • Professional knowledge of evidence-based treatments for a full range of psychiatric disorders.
  • Knowledge of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) of the American Psychiatric Association.
  • Knowledge of military organizations and culture and the unique stressors upon workers in an operational military workplace.

Education & Qualifications:

  • At a minimum, qualification requirements stipulated by the US Office of Personnel Management (OPM) for the 0185 occupational series must be met.
  • Selective Placement Factor: Possess a current, unrestricted license to practice clinical social work independently in any one of the 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, or the U.S Virgin Islands.
  • Practice will require clinical privileges at the host MTF. MUST maintain active clinical privileges for the duration of employment.
  • Must have practiced as an independent licensed clinical social worker within the past two years.
  • Must possess and maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
