Position Overview:
The Senior Living Care Supervisor is responsible for overseeing, coordinating, and managing the care services delivered by the caregiving team, medication aides, and nursing staff for residents in Assisted Living. This role ensures that exceptional service is provided with respect, dignity, and compassion.
1. Regularly monitor and assess residents to evaluate their care needs.
2. Efficiently manage daily departmental operations.
3. Actively promote and facilitate wellness initiatives tailored to each resident's requirements.
4. Address concerns from residents and their families in a prompt and considerate manner.
5. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers while overseeing all medical directives.
6. Supervise the Medication Management Programs and liaise with doctors to ensure optimal health outcomes.
7. Responsibly handle emergency situations until professional assistance arrives.
8. Assist in budget oversight and strive to meet departmental objectives.
Qualifications for Success:
- Strong team collaboration skills.
- Certification as a CNA.
- One to three years of experience in senior living or skilled nursing environments.
- Previous experience as a Resident Care Coordinator, Assisted Living Coordinator, or Life Enrichment Coordinator is advantageous.
- Preferred experience supervising a team for one to three years.
Certifications and Requirements:
- CPR Certification.
- Training in standard precautions for HIV/AIDS is a plus.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as necessary.
