Job Title: Counter-Drone Systems Liaison Officer

Job Summary:

Torch Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Counter-Drone Systems Liaison Officer to represent the Joint Counter-Drone Systems Office at the US Northern Command (NORTHCOM) in Colorado Springs, CO. The successful candidate will provide on-site Counter-Drone Systems subject matter expertise and facilitate information exchange between the Joint Counter-Drone Systems Office and the supported organizations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent the Joint Counter-Drone Systems Office on-site in NORTHCOM.
  • Maintain situational awareness of the Joint Counter-Drone Systems Office organization structure, authorities, roles, responsibilities, and activities.
  • Attend Joint Counter-Drone Systems Office Governance and Sub-working group meetings and communicate relevant developments/initiatives to the NORTHCOM customer.
  • Attend monthly Joint Counter-Drone Systems Office Liaison Officer virtual synchronization meetings and travel to attend the quarterly Joint Counter-Drone Systems Office Liaison Officer conference usually held in the National Capital Region.
  • Provide administrative and logistical support to any Joint Counter-Drone Systems Office team members visiting NORTHCOM.
  • Maintain awareness of emergent Counter-Drone Systems and technologies within the supported organization's area of responsibility.
  • Assist in developing, synchronizing, and integrating DoD efforts for Counter-Drone Systems.
  • Prepare written products (reports, info papers, executive summaries) to shape and defend the Joint Counter-Drone Systems Office or supported organization positions.
  • Represent the Joint Counter-Drone Systems Office in Counter-Drone-related forums or meetings as required.
  • Draft responses to high-visibility stakeholder Requests For Information (RFIs).
  • Maintain awareness of NORTHCOM Counter-Drone operations, intelligence, requirements, and initiatives and apply knowledge of these activities to facilitate successful outcomes for common NORTHCOM/Joint Counter-Drone Systems Office objectives.
  • Prepare and present briefings to Joint Counter-Drone Systems Office and CCMD leadership and stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Top Secret/SCI level security clearance is required.
  • Master's Degree or equivalent experience is required.
  • 15+ years of related work experience.
  • Must have a basic understanding of the Counter-Unmanned Aircraft Systems (C-UAS) mission.
  • Senior Military Staff experience required.

Additional Notes:

This position is onsite with the supported organization. Some travel to Joint Counter-Drone Systems Office headquarters in Arlington, VA is required and travel throughout the NORTHCOM area of responsibility is anticipated.

Salary range: $120,000-150,000
