Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team at Jones Lang LaSalle IP, Inc. in Brighton, MI, East Lansing, MI, or Lansing, MI. As an Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, or altering electrical services, equipment, and controls. You will work on high- and low-voltage systems, troubleshoot and repair electrical issues, and maintain a safe and efficient work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, maintain, or alter electrical services, equipment, and controls.
  • Work on high- and low-voltage systems, troubleshoot and repair electrical issues.
  • Maintain a safe and efficient work environment, adhering to all safety rules and regulations.
  • Report any equipment in need of repair or any unsafe situation or condition to the supervisor.
  • Operate hand/power tools, test instruments, and equipment normally used by this trade.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and Journeyman Electrical License.
  • Valid state driver's license in good standing.
  • 2 years minimum trade experience (trade license preferred).
  • Superior customer service skills and orientation.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism always and under stressful situations.
  • Ability to multi-task and work without direct supervision.
  • Attention to detail and CMMS and/or data base experience a plus.
  • Ability to plan and manage work under time constraints.
  • Strong organizational skills and collaborative style needed.
Special Requirements
  • Must be able to perform physical activities such as bending, standing, climbing, or walking.
  • Must be able to safely use manual tools and power equipment common in Building Maintenance.
