Structural Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Structural Engineer to join our team at Acclaim Recruiters. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and analyzing building systems to ensure safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform structural analysis of building systems, including structural steel, reinforced concrete, masonry, and wood, for both gravity and lateral loads.
  • Coordinate structural design details with architectural and MEP designs.
  • Review shop drawings, RFI's, and perform site visits during the construction phase.
  • Work directly with clients to ensure client satisfaction throughout the project duration.
  • Develop new work opportunities through existing client relationships.
Requirements:
  • Possess a Bachelor's degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering with a structural emphasis.
  • California Professional engineering registration (P.E. license).
  • 3 to 8 years of experience in structural design and detailing.
  • Proficient in computer-aided design (CAD), Auto CAD 2D is a must, 3D preferred.
  • Ability to organize and handle multiple project assignments.
  • Ability to develop key client relationships.
Compensation:

Salary and benefits based upon experience.
