As a Lead Bridge Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional results for our clients. Your responsibilities will encompass all aspects of bridge project management, from initial client interaction to final design implementation.

Responsibilities
  • Cultivate strong relationships with clients, ensuring their expectations are consistently exceeded.
  • Provide expert guidance and oversight on project schedules and budgets, ensuring efficient resource allocation and timely completion.
  • Develop compelling proposals for new bridge projects, showcasing Gedeon GRC Consulting's capabilities and expertise.
  • Establish and implement rigorous quality assurance/quality control procedures that align with industry standards and agency requirements.
  • Collaborate effectively with other project team leads to define clear scopes of work and ensure seamless project execution.
  • Spearhead the expansion of our bridge engineering department, identifying growth opportunities and attracting top talent.
  • Serve as a technical expert, providing guidance on structural design, cost estimation, and specification preparation.
  • Streamline proposal processes for bridge projects, focusing on assigned sections and Statements of Interest to enhance efficiency and competitiveness.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 15 years of proven experience in bridge design, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of industry best practices.
  • Active Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
  • Additional certifications such as SECB, ASCE, SE I or SE II, and OSHA Certified are highly desirable.
  • Experience working with NYSDOT, PANY/NJ, and NYCDOT is essential.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard software applications, including Office 365, AutoCAD, MicroStation, and Open Roads Designer (ORD).
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to motivate and guide project teams toward success.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
