Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced AWS Glue ETL Developer Lead with a strong background in AWS Glue Cloud Service. The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical skills and a solid foundation in ETL processes.


Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize AWS Glue for data ingestion and transformation from source systems into S3 buckets or target databases within AWS.
  • Design, develop, and implement new data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with other AWS services such as S3, RDS, RedShift, and Lambda.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to defining a robust technical culture.
  • Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Experience:

  • 3 years of hands-on experience with AWS Glue (Crawler, Data Catalog, DataBrew).
  • 2 years of experience in ETL and data process automation.
  • Proficiency in Oracle and Netezza SQL, PL/SQL.
  • Familiarity with Step Functions, Lambda, and CloudFormation is preferred.
  • 8 years of experience in ETL processes is desirable.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Urban Code, GitLab, Jenkins, and Python is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

AWS Solutions Architect and/or AWS Developer certification is preferred.
