Job Description

Hyopsys LLC is seeking a highly skilled Network Systems Engineer I to join our team. As a key member of our IT team, you will be responsible for leading endpoint provisioning and deprovisioning support staff, handling general helpdesk service tickets and project tasks in a fast-paced environment, and proactively responding to escalated/assigned tickets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead endpoint provisioning and deprovisioning support staff
  • Handle general helpdesk service tickets and project tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Proactively respond to escalated/assigned tickets
  • Visit local customer sites to complete projects, one day or multi day
  • Take ownership of your assignments
  • Recognize when to escalate to the next level
  • Build relationships with customers
  • Identify potential for improvement in customer environments
  • Communicate potential improvement to Sales
  • Understand and follow SOPs and suggest or implement changes to SOPs when needed

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree, Technical school, or related certifications (CCNA or equivalent, Network+, A+)
  • Experience working in a call center, NOC, or customer service-oriented position a major plus
  • At least 1-4 years' Experience/Knowledge working in ANY of the following:
  • Desktop support & Troubleshooting (Win10, Win11, Apple Mac)
  • Microsoft 365, Google G Suite
  • Windows Server 2016, 2019, 2022, 2025
  • Active Directory, File/Print Services
  • TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS
  • DNS record management
  • Network Fundamentals, Switching and Routing, Layer2/Layer3 switching
  • Network Design, Visio, and Documentation Skills a plus
  • OSI Model
  • Email Security Systems (Filtering, Secure Messaging, DLP) a plus
  • Firewall technologies (i.e. Cisco, SonicWALL, FortiGate), VPN a plus
  • VOIP, QoS a major plus
  • Linux
  • Vendor liaison support
