The Retail Operations Supervisor at Joybird is crucial in establishing the groundwork for our retail operations. Reporting directly to the Store Leader, you will play a vital role in driving the success of our retail outlet. This position offers significant growth opportunities as the company expands. You will collaborate with the Store Leader to cultivate a team of outstanding stylists, implement effective processes and procedures that enable us to consistently deliver exceptional customer service, and ensure that the store surpasses established financial performance benchmarks.
Your Responsibilities Include:
- Providing guidance and mentorship to team members while proactively identifying challenges and swiftly executing solutions.
- Becoming a knowledgeable resource on the complete Joybird product line and offering style guidance and product suggestions tailored to each customer's specific needs.
- Collaborating with the Store Leader to relay valuable insights to our product, marketing, and technology teams regarding customer preferences and feedback.
- Assisting the Store Leader with scheduling and payroll management to effectively align with business requirements and company standards.
- Maintaining operational excellence by supporting the implementation of key policies, procedures, training, and initiatives with your team.
- Participating in the recruitment of top talent for the team.
- In partnership with the Store Leader, analyzing key performance indicators and reports to develop business solutions that exceed sales targets.
- Managing store opening and closing procedures, including cash handling where appropriate.
- Leading, upholding, and embodying Joybird's mission and core values.
