Job Title: Quantitative Systems Pharmacology Modeling Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantitative Systems Pharmacology Modeling Expert to join our team at Cornerstone Search Group. As a key member of our Life Sciences Executive Search firm, you will play a critical role in helping our clients find and attract top talent for their leadership positions.

About the Role:

This is a unique opportunity to lead the development of a dedicated Quantitative Systems Pharmacology (QSP) capability for a well-established pharmaceutical company. As a QSP Modeling Expert, you will be responsible for building and integrating QSP models to support drug development at all stages, from preclinical research to clinical trials and beyond.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement QSP models to aid in dose optimization, biomarker identification, safety and efficacy assessment, and drug development decision-making.
  • Collaborate with internal and external experts, teams, and projects to develop innovative methods for modeling efficacy and safety.
  • Create and maintain computational biology methods and pipelines to support the company's shift towards more data-driven research and development.
  • Work closely with senior leaders in R&D to integrate QSP modeling into all facets of R&D.
Requirements:
  • PhD in a relevant field (e.g., biology, math, pharmacology, biomedical engineering, chemical engineering, computation biology, computer science, etc.)
  • Senior / Principal / AD / Director-level QSP experience either with a pharma/biotech or for a consulting company or academic research department that services pharma/biotech.
  • Extensive experience with exploratory data analysis, modeling and simulation with programming languages such as Python and R.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
