As a skilled diesel technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing a wide range of maintenance issues on our trucks in all weather conditions, ensuring the highest level of safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond promptly to road assist calls and repair units, identifying and determining parts requiring replacement and warrantable repairs.
  • Perform diagnostics and non-road assist call repairs as needed.
  • Restock rapid assist vehicles with tools, parts, tires, and other necessary items.
  • Perform maintenance or repairs to road assist vehicles as required.
  • Assist with designated in-shop repairs as directed by your supervisor.

Requirements:
  • 2-4 years of practical experience with tractor trailer maintenance.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Vocational/technical or certification preferred.
  • Specialized training in the repair and replacement of vehicle components preferred.
  • Proficiency in the use of shop tools required.
  • Current CDL license with air brake certification required.
  • Basic computer skills preferred for data entry into maintenance systems.
Physical Demands:

The physical demands of this role include frequent movement, standing, walking, climbing, bending, and sitting for extended periods. You must be able to work safely at heights using applicable ladders and elevated working platforms. Regularly lifting and/or moving up to 50lbs/23kg and occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 100lbs/45kg are also required.
