Administrative Support Position

We are seeking a skilled and reliable administrative support professional to join our team in the Public Works department. This part-time position offers a great opportunity to gain experience in a local government setting while working in a dynamic and supportive team environment.

The selected candidate will perform a variety of administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and responding to inquiries. They will also provide support for special events and projects as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with data entry, filing, and record-keeping
  • Respond to phone calls, emails, and walk-in inquiries from the public
  • Provide support for special events and projects as needed
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and reports

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum 2 years of office/clerical experience preferred
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions

Salary and Benefits: $16.30 per hour, up to 28 hours per week
