We are currently seeking a compassionate Substance Use Treatment Nurse to deliver vital care to our clients at our treatment facility. This role may also involve medication dispensing duties within correctional settings.
We welcome applications from Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), and Registered Nurses (RNs). This is a full-time, exempt position reporting to the Assistant Director of Substance Use Disorder Services.
Key Responsibilities:- Administer prescribed medications, including Methadone and Suboxone, in compliance with established protocols.
- Oversee medication inventory and maintain dispensing equipment.
- Ensure accurate electronic medical records management.
- Collaborate with treatment teams to provide effective and compassionate care.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Assistant Director.
- Active LPN/LVN or RN license in California.
- Current CPR certification or ability to obtain upon employment.
- Proficiency in managing electronic medical records.
- Experience in substance use services is preferred but not mandatory.
- Must possess a clean driving record.
