Salary: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $19.00 - $20.00, ensuring that you are fairly compensated for your hard work and dedication. Whether you're working day shift, night shift, or holidays, you can rely on a stable income to support yourself and your loved ones.

Job Responsibilities

As a Store Protection Liaison, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Mitigating Theft & Fraud: Monitor entrances/exits and sales floor for potential theft by identifying suspicious behavior.
  • Gathering Theft Indicators: Gather theft indicators and use internal or external intelligence to impact shortage trends.
  • Effective Communication: Effectively communicate to store leadership and Loss Prevention about potential threats.

Maintaining a Safe & Secure Environment:

  • Providing a Visible Presence: Provide a visible presence at store entrances/exits and on the sales floor in a company-issued vest, monitoring for potential safety issues.
  • Assisting Store Leadership: Assist store leadership to maintain a safe and secure environment for associates and customers.

Minimizing Operational Shortage:

  • Increasing Store Awareness: Increase store awareness of effective processes to minimize operational shortages.
  • Training and Education: Train and educate associates on shortage reduction initiatives.

Developing Great Teams & Partnerships:

  • Providing Great Customer Service: Provide great customer service by greeting customers and answering questions.
  • Regular Involvement with Internal and External Partners: Regular involvement with internal and external partners may include conference calls, scheduled district meetings, etc.
  • Other Duties as Assigned: Other duties as assigned to support Loss Prevention initiatives.

Qualifications and Special Skills Required:

  • Loss Prevention/Security Training: One year of loss prevention/security training is preferred.
  • Ability to Work Effectively: Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong Communication/Customer Service Skills: Strong communication/customer service skills are essential.
  • Demonstrated Ability to Build Relationships: Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with the store team.
  • Proven Conflict Resolution Skills: Proven ability to effectively resolve conflict.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged Standing: Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time (up to 8 hours per day).
  • Lifting and Bending: Must be able to raise or lower objects weighing up to 25 lbs, from one level to another (includes upward pulling). Must be able to regularly bend, stoop, or crouch (frequency and duration will vary per daily business need).
